I can't trust my eyes seeing those (many) features  a very... very complete security suit which I guess if its English version was available it would have certainly beaten all the top dogs

Yeah exactly as fenson said like Kingsoft. Chinese version of kingsoft is being developed & updated regularly while the English version was easily abandoned. :(
I guess I'm coming to believe that there is a policy behind these behaviors..

I installed it in blind [can't read/understand chi language], and by the functions it reminds me of Baidu PC Faster [pcfaster.com] in many respects.
I think there is exploit/vulnerability fix [in Baidu windows update], registry cleaning, system optimization and performance, I think AV is included. Then there is something for the mobile phone [android?], from the program I think you could download it's 360 browser. I noticed in the widget/gadget it installs on second tab it measures data flow from apps, maybe it includes firewall but I can't understand it anything. Basically it was program icon, program name, and in/out measurement. I didn't test it much so I cannot confirm if it recommends speeding up after system restart [turning off unnecessary programs.]
I also noticed in the program an icon [white package with red cross], think it's the malware/rootkit killer program, it has among other options MBR fix/clean.

Those understanding this program should correct me if I'm wrong, as I said, didn't play with it much. But I would ditch TuneUp for this one in a heart beat!:thumb:

GakunGak, you have done us a great favor with installing the Chinese version. :thumb:

this is a translation of that link, see if these features accord with those you saw on the Chinese 360, I guess you can recognize them by their Icons.

    http://translate.googleusercontent....60.cn/&usg=ALkJrhhxCpIf-AhJd1PZgbrYqBLCiwg7nA

    for example:

it is the 'first aid kit', " Killing stubborn virus repair system abnormalities"

    keep us informed mate.

I read about this event on their website in news section.
I think they are going to introduce new global products.

I can't wait to try Total Security when it is released.

The switch from BitDefender to Avira doesn't worry me, and perhaps it will make it lighter than before. Also, I'm quite happy with the lack of a firewall as these days I'm more than happy using Windows 7's own firewall, and have no desire use a 3rd party alternative.

Why all the excitement about this total security? It just seems like they added some CCleaner type functions.
