Hello guys, recently I've uninstalled my Chinese Version of Qihoo 360 AV.

Because I am doing testing of Tencent PC Manager and Qihoo 360 Chinese Product, thus I can't install Qihoo 360 Internet Security (it will crash) and other rivals. Chinese Security Product using Avira Engine... so I think it will be redundant if I use Avira AV Free.

I cannot use Bit-defender Free because it is not compatible with Tencent Security Product. And BD Free causing BSOD of CLFS.SYS.

Can suggest any silent yet powerful and compatible with the Tencent/ Qihoo Product related free antivirus?

Current System: Win7 Home Premium 64Bit. (Windows FW default)

    Thanks.

I'd say Panda Cloud. Cleans the crap itself, updates itself and doesn't nag about anything. Can't go wrong with it.

It has always scored well in professional tests and those done on Youtube. So, again, you can't go wrong with it.

One would expect me to say avast! and i would, but only after tweaking it and disable all the sounds, notifications, warnings etc. In that case it can just as well be really silent AV, but doesn't come that way out of the box.

Does the Panda Cloud compatible to those Tencent, Qihoo related security products? And does it heavy on background usage?

Avast with the custom settings I recommend HERE. You can download my custom settings file at the bottom of my forum post in the .zip file and it will put all the settings in for you. I have used these settings for MANY clients without a single issue or complaint. These settings set Avast to silently work in the background and do it's job without bothering you at all.
