    About using only AVG, I think it would work if you did it right... Maybe BitDefender Free and F-Prot for DOS as backup scanners, plus a good firewall (Kerio maybe)... Plus, no pr0n surfing. (As if any security-conscious person would do that...)

    I use DrWeb. Why? Because it's made in Texas, that's why. :p

    I use a combination of products for protection.

    (1) AVG

    (2) A2

    (3) Adaware

    (4) SypBot

    (5) Sypware Blaster

    (**) Perhaps not actualy virus protection, but I consider BigFix as part of the protection also.

    I use dial up and have not installed a fire wall, thus far I have had no problems.

    kav 5.0 personal and also have a license for nod32 for a back up i like them both.
