Seems like Wontok can actually develop technologies themselves if we go by their website. Sure, every vendor has to advertise, but there are many who still think their signatures are enough or flaunt this or that engine they've licensed. At the very least Wontok do neither and it's rare that a newcomer to a test gets such a good result even if it's just VB.

Re: New RAP from VB100 - December 2013

CAT QuickHeal has moved to total irrelevance.. Not surprised.

Avira Free vs Avira Pro seems to have some real detection variances, Pro is a lot higher. The 'cluster' at the top contains AV's I generally find I cannot run, or deploy for various reasons (bugs, slowdowns, compatibility). Sadly.

Good Morning! Other firms I'm not familiar with...Kromtech...M-Secure...Haun...Estsoft...are they Consumer or Enterprise Market Products. There should be an Index provided by VB defining and providing clarity for the consumer as to who these firms are and the products and services they provide. Sincerely...Securon

Almost missed it! Thanks for the update.
I still wonder when will VB100 change this crappy unreadable graphical chart for something like a list.

Hauri's ViRobot Internet Security 2011 is a consumer product. The 2011 is a bit misleading as the components of it do continue to be updated. It uses Bitdefender's scan engine alongside its own. Unfortunately its own engine has problems with false positives.

ESTsoft publish Roboscan and ALYac antiviruses, with ALYac being the Korean version (but it will be available in English too soon), identified in the report as ESTsoft

I don't know anything about the other products, except according to my downloads folder I downloaded the trial version MSecure's MalwareSecure two weeks ago. I can't remember anything about it however due my poor memory.

It's good to see Roboscan doing so well, although as usual the Korean version ALYac (ESTsoft) does slightly better.

Maybe, I should start using Roboscan again because it really light.

I may just be nitpicking (wouldn't be the first time) but I would like to see a separation of home/consumer products and enterprise. Everyone tossed into the mix together is just a mess.o_O

The something like a list is published in their report which they sell for about $20 U.S. if I remember correctly. Of course, that won't work for the I-don't-never-pay-for-no-nothing User Group.

A member named Petrovic usually posts the VB lists at malwaretips.
