    Agree totally:thumb: it`s a mess.

Can`t stand that bland, damned, dumbed down metro look.

Gui looks like the Live Tiles on the Nokia phones.

Does not really bother me; of more importance is detection rate and effect on performance.

It is still an excellent product don't forget that Panda Cloud Free AV 2.2 was ranked in second place in the AV Comparatives Real-World Protection Test August-November 2013

Look at the December graph which is the consolidation of tests from August to November
    http://chart.av-comparatives.org/chart1.php
The only issue is the FP level but I don't consider this very important, when I have doubts I use VT.

FP issue is being fixed in the current version

I have nothing against Metro in and of itself, but the cacophony of colors is a real eyesore.

If you're going for the Metro look, at least be consistent in the use of colors, e.g. BitDefender:

I like the fact I can remove some of the tiles that aren't needed like in the case of the free version high the buy now firewall module.

but I also noticed as your remove them it makes the GUI look really bad and empty. I hope they let the user resize the tiles.

All this moaning and whinging about colours, GUI etc. etc.
Get real, it sits in your system tray 99% of the time as an icon unless you're an out and out fiddler.
Shouldn't the emphasis be on its performance, attributes, bugs, crashes a la BETA?

Since when did 'eye candy' become part of benchmarking a product's capability?
Bet you guys rate a car on the road by it colour and looks instead of what sits under the 'bonnet'.

If it sits in the backgroud 99% of the time, then why change the GUI..?? That makes no sence.
And then to something so UGLY..

Tested couple times. I never saw its behavior blocker detecting malware, stable & beta both. Does BB works or is effective?

I tried it (with FW off, all the rest on) on 2 PC alongside with CIS 6.3 + EMET. I know it is not supposed to go in this combo but anyways it feels very light and no issues.

The UI is a mess. If you like it, so be it, but for the rest of us that aren't color blind, we want the devs to know what we think about their 'design' choice, or better yet, lack there of.

So what if I rate a car by it's color? Sue me. :D
I prefer simple and effective things. Why all that garbage if nobody looks at it? Why not just a square window in black and white? If Panda decides to make it that way, it means they make it on purpose, right? That purpose is what I DON'T like in this software.

    +1

Never saw it in action, I hope they will address this instead of a GUI that I will not see to much of anyway.

If people hate the interface (and yes I hate it too) they won't use it. So the performance and stability becomes irrelevant.

I don't have any time for programs with a metro interface. I use Windows 8 occasionally, but never use any of the metro apps.

Im prpbably the only one but Im fine with the new GUI. My prpblem with panda cloud products is the protection it offers. The website blocking capabilities is great but the file detection is mediocre IMO.

Furthermore, on-demand scans are quite slow and drag down the computer.

I wonder if the web blocking feature will be proper integrated this time with all browsers. Why don't they follow Avast's or Bitdefender's example (Avast browser security,Bitdefender Trafficlight) and make a browser extension?
