We have made some really important changes to the product and we’d like to show it to you first, before we officially release the new Panda Cloud Antivirus 3.0.

Beta versions are the best way to collect feedback and receive your suggestions so that we can develop the Panda Cloud Antivirus that best satisfies your needs. That’s why we’d like to encourage you to test this new Beta version and help us improve!

You can download the beta from -http://acs.pandasoftware.com/cloudantivirus/beta29/PandaCloudAntivirus.exe-

These are some of the new improvements included in the 2.9 Beta:

Entirely new look & feel. More modern, more intuitive. Easier than ever. Play with it, add/remove modules and customize it to suit your needs.

New Wi-Fi Monitor. Find out if someone is stealing your Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi monitor shows a list of all devices that are currently connected to your network, helping you discover if there is an intruder on your Wi-Fi network.

Lighter and more secure than ever. As you already know, our obsession is to improve protection capabilities and product performance with every new version. This Beta is no exception. We are aware that we need to continue evolving Panda Cloud Antivirus to confirm the exceptional results obtained in the latest comparative tests and, most importantly, to keep your trust.

As Panda Community members you can influence the way Panda Cloud Antivirus evolves and protects more than 30 million users all over the world.

BIG THANKS for helping us improve Panda Cloud Antivirus!

Thanks, looks OK, not a fan of the metro style at the GUI start taken from the other Panda products. But I guess they want their product lineup to look the same.

I like the GUI. Not sure the option for three different home screens are needed though. Even on my Android phone, I only use the main home screen 99.9% of the time.

    Here i see 4 processes.

5 if i open the GUI.

I/O disk and Ram usage have always been impressive with Panda.

I think they added a scheduled scan feature but is not working here. The button is grayed out.

I also don't see the Data shield. Hope they did not removed it.Would be disappointing.

I get a third if I open the GUI. In prior versions of PCAV, I found disk i/o to be massive.

Yes, I can't find Data Shield anymore.
It looks like the URL filter is still installed through the toolbar instead of integrated.

When I saw that, I just didn't bother with the url filter. Maybe why I have one less process.

Agree, not a fan of the Metro or "Modern" UI style. Seems like the only option for GUI moving forward fall between Metro (ugly bright colored blocks) and Twister (ugly bright colored circles). :gack: Well thank God, for Australis <sarcasm>.

Data Shield was one of the main "selling" points if you ask me. Protecting your personal data from nasty cryptors. If that feature i gone...

So far it is running excellent on my machine. It is super light. Don't mind the Metro so much, it is the wave of the future might as well get used to it.

The design is horrible horrible horrible. A different color for each component looks absolutely horrendous and amateurish. Pick either black and blue or black and green (the predominant colors in the settings) and stick with it for everything.

I wonder if the Wi-Fi monitor will also be a feature of the free offering? Don't mind the look of the new UI. Didn't see the Data Shield feature, but since I have CryptoPrevent installed, no biggie.

Making money is ok but it's a beta and I'd opt for the paid version anyway.

Actually I take that back. It is avg to high. Panda does not exactly make it easy to track all it's processes. I was missing two of them, one which has a lot of disk i/o. I figured it was too good to be true.

What's in the free version? I assume this is the paid as it has a firewall.
