Yeah what a rip. Sorry about that.

Best price out there for MBAM currently seems to be here; ($17 for lifetime)

Chicalogic is just a rebranded MBAM (which I actually like better due to a nicer tray icon, and better colors). Uses the identical registry code system, and is approved by MBAM.

I just went to MBAM's website and saw they still offer lifetime licensing. I read somewhere here in Wilders that they had gone with the year-renewal model.

Not yet, I believe that happens when v2 is released (currently it's in beta). But, they have said they will honour existing lifetime licenses.

Not your fault. Thanks for the links. I tried Pro for a few days now and must say that the real time protection doesn't slow my pc down at all, it is not noticeable. I also like the ability to schedule scans. I've used the product for many years and never paid a dime, I think it's time I purchased it.

I'm a huge fan of free security/antivirus softwares, and it looks like I am going to be using a three layered defense of paid products.. lol

    Total invested:

    WRSA (3 years total on 3 PC's): $22 ($5.99 x 2 on Amazon and $9.99 x 1 on NewEgg)

    AppGuard $30 3 PC's for life of version 4.0

MBAM Pro $17 - lifetime one pc.

You might want to consider ditching System Mechanic (completely your choice) but do a search on Google for "System Mechanic error" and you'll see why I say you might want to reconsider. I get over 2.3 million hits for that query.

The link provided by others on our own store link has Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro for $14.95 and is currently for online download and has a lifetime license.

Yeah please don't use Iobit products, especially System Breaker/Mechanic. It's been known to trash windows installs, but at the very least - ruin many product installations.

Yes that is correct - it is not from iObit but it still has a lot of issues that have been posted about it over the years. Now days Windows can do almost any type of maintenance with built-in tools.

I don't use it. But am a fan of the other two programs, and it was good price.

"Honour existing lifetime licenses", will this be registered (installed)and non registered (new and not installed) ones? Or is this just the ones already installed and registered?

I have many lifetime never used still in boxes and courious if I should go ahead and install/register them.

As far as I know any existing lifetime license will be honoured, so it won't matter if the key is already in use or not.

If you bought a MBAM 1.X key, we will take care of you, period.
