I ve seen some malwares detected by Bitdefender but Qihoo has let them pass(i've checked them on VirusTotal).....Is there any difference or any delay between the database?

I saw one case (at malwaretips.com) in which the missing detection was probably a PUP, and since it was a Chinese program, we reasoned it could be whitelisted in China, and therefore not detected by Qihoo. If you could test the same file later and verify it's being detected, then it was probably just a delay in database update.

I have tested & compared quite a few products with powered products free.
Products - Original Products like Bitdefender
Powered Products Free- Free Products that uses Bitdefender.
    The tests were signatures only.

All the powered products detects less than original.
I dont know if this is due to powered products using old engine of original products or delay in databases or original products like Bitdefender have different engine or sdk or whatever its called, for powered products vendors.

Looks like they've shuffled the engine icons around in the beta.

I wish they'd been more specific about the lack of the Avira engine in the English version.

Id hope they would change the popups so only the bad or harmful files are alerted and not if the file is safe.

Although I used a different version of Qihoo 360 AV (which is Qihoo 360 IS in Chinese Version), but I wanted to ask, if anyone using MBAM Pro... encounter malicious IP blocking during its auto update (like virus sig. or definition)o_O

Screenshot Link of the MBAM Pro IP Block: http://yunpan.cn/QzMYDJvUyMgzc

(Note: it is not a first time ...)

Comodo's DNS.com blocks some Qihoo sites as well. Their explanation is that since its blacklisted by other services, they do it as well. So much for doing your own job...

I wonder what the explanation is on MB's part. I would love to read it.

I never expected to get a response quickly, and to be honest, it would not have surprised me if there was no response at all. Much to my delight I received an e-mail answering all of my questions. I am impressed. I thanked them today for the kind words and the attention they gave to this subject. At first I thought "Who at Wilders are they talking about in the website posting? I would love to know who spoke with them and got a response that quickly." When I spoke with them on Wednesday they said this was in response to your questions Mr. stephentony. I asked them please not to refer to me as Mr. anything. Mr. is for grownups, which my wife knows all to well, I will never be. They confirmed they were responding to my inquiry, and would be doing so in the news section of the 360 website.

The rest is on the 360 website. So thank you to the gang at Qihoo for taking time out of their busy day to answer a few questions. Somehow I gave them the idea that I'm competent in the realm of internet security when in fact I am a complete fraud and usually make it up as I go along. ;)

I should wrap this up since the nurse just ducked into my room to let me know they would be giving me a little something to take the edge off before they wheel me downstairs. I hope she means some quality pharmaceuticals when referring to something that will take the edge off. Okay, she just injected something into the IV bag and I can say without question it has taken the edge off quite nicely. I'll say so long for now and I'll talk to you guys when I'm up and about in a few days. Oh, this is good! Next stop Cloud 9. All is right with the world. Goodnight to all of you! :D

They didn't mention anything about Avira & Repair engine in Chinese version & not in international version.

Does the Beta still require Admin password if you are using a LUA (SUA)?

You want it to find even if your pc is clean? to be sure you're clean try to run a scan with HitmanPro and Malwarebytes. don't forget that no antivirus has a detection rate of 100%, never.
