    I recently replaced Bitdefender Internet Security with Kaspersky Internet Security, and I am quite pleased with the change. It is very simple yet just as advanced as I need it to be for my tastes. Kaspersky also has a very neat GUI, and has less of an impact on my PC's performance.

    Malwarebytes will always been installed on every computer I touch. It's the only security program that has never let me down. I do wish that one day they would implement a feature allowing one to install Malwarebytes on several computers, and monitor the running processes, and toggle updates and scans. That would be a great feature for someone like me and other fixer uppers to have.

    Giving Online Armor Premium a 30 day trial. So far it's working fine with everything else.

    The same old setup since a few years;

    1) AppGuard - I have it installed on all computers at home. I've installed it on all relatives' computers as well, and none (!) have been infected so far.
    2) Webroot SecureAnywhere - same as above, but AppGuard always stop everything before WSA even needs to do its job. It's the last layer of defense and protects banking data. :)

    On-demand on my computers only since a few years back;

    1) Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    2) HitmanPro

    I use a different setup on my laptop:

    COMODO Firewall w/HIPS. Malwarebytes. COMODO sandboxed Google Chrome with Adblock+ (all lists) and the Ghostery extension. This laptop uses 3G so I use anything with a low data footprint. I'm considering Hitman Pro (paid) to use while I'm at home and connected to my network. I've never used it before, what's the Wilders opinion? (not asking for an A vs. B)

    One of the best. Let it perform daily scans on start-up. Gives you a little more peace of mind.

    Thanks. I may eventually go with paid Malwarebytes, and HMP together along with TinyWall.

    So it's been a bit since I posted last (I lurk more than I post) but I've since settled on a nice (not way too overboard) setup at the moment:

    Active:
    -- Admuncher Premium 4.33
    -- Keyscrambler Premium 3.3
    -- Emsisoft Anti-Malware 8.1
    -- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro 1.75
    -- AppGuard 4.0 in Medium mode (not quite done configuring to run in Locked Down mode)

    Passive:
    -- EMET 4.0
    -- Spyware Blaster AutoUpdate

    On-Demand:
    -- Hitman Pro

    Backup/Imaging:
    -- Rollback RX
    -- Drive Snapshot

    Not sure if this is overboard or not but it's pretty solid and does not impact system performance at all.

    Any input is welcome though if I need to trim down some of the fat, sort to speak.

    Newegg has a lifetime license for MBAM for $9. Version 2 will be pretty good when it comes out.

    Interesting. I added it as well.

    I now do weekly quick-scans with Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, and herdProtect. I don't run an on-demand AV with this laptop.

    For Windows:
    K9, Forticlient, MBAM Pro (realtime), HMP, BitDefender Safeplay - not all on the same computer. I manage about 4 Windows computers and depending on the security level required I use the above software.
    For Linux:
    None
    And of course my favorite and 100% fail proof - black tape over my camera.
