BitDefender on my three computers recognized CyberGhost.exe as "potencially malicious."

P.S. I've tried to attach a snapshot with the Bitdefender Message, but Wilders Security did not allow.
The png file was 10.1 KB
    Go figure.

Also, SuperAntispyware found a "threat": beta-advertiser.cyberghostvpn.com

I'm using the free edition. I turned off autoscan, and it remains paused, while Virus Shield continues to operate.

    Terrible

Bought this software to replace Kaspersky as it seemed to come out with higher scores.
Download said I was not connected to internet. Was then given uninstall instructions and links to re-install. Re-install links did not work - error in files.
Despite several urgent messages to their support I have not had any solution and I have been without Internet protection.

I have no option but to go back to Kaspersky, which I have had for several years and never had any problems - my decision to switch was also based on price - but Kaspersky lowered their price for previous customers.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BIT DEFENDER IN A MILLION YEARS.

On the autoscan issue, there is an alternative. Go to Settings -> Antivirus -> Exclusions. There you will find settings options for :

    Scan CD/DVD devices
    Scan USB devices
    Scan Mapped Network Drives

For each of the above, you have a dropdown box with three choices:
    Autoscan
    Disabled
    Ask every time

You can select 'disabled' or 'Ask every time' for any or all of the above without triggering the disabled warning or disabled warning icon.
