I have setup Paragon HDM14 Pro to send me an e-mail notification after backing up my hard drive. This feature works successfully when I run a backup from the HDM14 Pro interface. However, when I backup my hard drive by running a Paragon script, I do not receive an e-mail notification. Is it possible, somehow, to receive e-mail notifications after running a Paragon script? Scripts and e-mail notifications were two of the primary features for which I purchased HDM14 Pro. It would be disappointing if the features were mutually exclusive. Thanks for any help/advice you can offer.
You have not changed the backup settings during your manually BU run? As far as I can see, there is nothing inside the script about e-mail notification. The feature is depending on the settings in HDM; please check “E-mail options” in your settings. Does the button <Send test e-mail> work? I am running HDM 14 Pro on a Win7 x64 computer; the feature works excellent here.
Thanks for your suggestion, John Doe. I figured out how to get e-mail notifications after running a script. I use the '-g' switch to cause the script to run in "graphical mode".
