I don't know. I never used Advanced SystemCare, but people use it, so I posted.

This is quite a useful utility suite, but don't use the registry cleaner as it gives occasional minor false positives (which is to be expected). But, other than that it works quite well.

Can anyone comment on how Advanced System Care Pro compares to other cleaner/optimization utilities?

It has more features than most, and the registry cleaner gives fewer false positives than 99% of the other utility suites (but still should not be used do minor false positives).

It's worth getting the Pro version for free.

I see that it has a malware scanner. Is that "on demand" only or "real time"?

It's one thing to make a mistake (Malwarebytes) it's quite another to be accused of
    stealing somone elses database. (IObit)

Antivirus/antimalware software companies have made mistakes. McAfee, Avast, just to name 2.

True enough, I think both have made changes since, old news, time to move on.....Back on topic.....iobit have made some very good software since they made that mistake.

    I'm done on this subject:)

Be warned that the uninstall of this product doesn't remove it completely and leaves a lot behind. Gave it a try on my Windows 8.1 and uninstalled it a few hours later.

I think it's only on demand. But, in any case it's detection rates are not up to scratch. However there is an Ultimate version of ASC which has a full antivirus using BitDefender for the scan engine.
