I Can't Live Without Firefox In 2014

In 2014, I still can't live without Firefox.

 

Google Chrome for now.

 

After much thought I realized that I don't like any of the modern browsers available. I use Chrome basically just because of its security benefits. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

Opera 12.16 till I can. I like Sleipnir, fast and nice, but every time I try it I have some issue.

 

I like Firefox, no doubt, during 2014 its going to continue being the right browser for me.

Chrome only here, for speed and security. I like the fact that Google spends quite a bit of money to reward anybody who finds bugs or vulnerabilities.

 

Currently using Firefox, but do not like the direction Mozilla developers are going with the
Australis interface. Mozilla developer has announced the release of a new branch called
Holly which is the normal Firefox without Australis, but sounds like this is only a
temporary solution from what I've read.

Might be switching over to Pale Moon sometime in 2014.

It's Sleipnir with uses both Chome's an IE's engines. I can't see myself switching to anything else for a long time, as I prefer it a lot too any other browser I've used.

I'm still using v4 as the new v5 which has only just been released gives me very blurry text for some reason. However v4 works fine so I'm happy to stay with v4 for now.

The one annoyance I have with Sleipnir is that sometimes when resuming my laptop from sleep or hibernation is that it wrongly thinks it has crashed. There is a 10 second countdown during which you can opt not to restart Sleipnir but often I don't see this and just get a message saying it has crashed and gives me the option to restart Sleipnir. At lease Sleipnir automatically reopens all the tabs I had open.

 

Still using internet explorer,now 11, as primary browser, otherwise I use waterfox 64 bit (26).

For the first time in many years I'm going to have to go with Chrome.

Firefox for now and Pale Moon as a backup. I could make PM as the default when Australis stable is released due to the fact that Moonchild wrote that he would not introduce Australis to PM. Don't like the route that Mozilla is taking. Time will tell...

 

Every now and then I use Browzar running from a USB stick.

 

I for one could never get used to the lack of top menu.

 

Yandex - Chrome Based, offers the same like Chrome, sandboxed flash and extensions, but it does not include Google or NSA tracking, only KGB.

 

I use Google Chrome. It's fast, simple, secure. I know, it doesn't offer much privacy, but there isn't much privacy on internet anyway.
