Should this thread be re-titled? I'm sure the deals are appreciated but the date is way past.

And what is it with all the constant NewEgg promotion? They aren't the only store with security software deals?

Better to download the trial and take it for a ride before looking for deals. Always try before you buy ;) :thumb:

Is it that bad dude? PM me if you want so we don't go A vs. B.

    Thanks.

Realistically you should try any antivirus before purchasing it. Some antiviruses are light on some computers and heavy on others, so no matter how cheap it is, install the trial version and make sure you are happy with it before parting with your money.

im not going to a vs b but i dont care how light many claim it to be or tests etc every single pc i have tried it on its heavy as heck. and i personally dont think its real world results are nearly as good as some tests show its very good detection wise but imo not 100% in real world use. even on a heavily overclocked i7 (current gen) to 4.5 24/7 use with 32gb ram imo you know its there. while it doesnt slow that down as much as a lower end system or even mid tier with a system like that you basically should not even know its there and you def do.

besides the fact that one of my local competitors in the pc biz recc's it to every client and REFUSES to install anything else .... people come in to see me telling me ever since he installed this and refuses to remove it their systems have been so slow. and yes this is with the newest internet security version. i offer them free removal and a choice of a number of solutions with a suggestion of maybe 1 or 2 that i feel would work best for them after asking some questions. so for me i remove trend more than i ever have installed it. this is 100% honest and i have no reason to say anything otherwise because i can sell trend also in my shop.

well thanks to these sales I have bought and not used the following...

5 x BDIS2013 1 user (pricing error from months back too cheap not to buy lets say under 5 dollars for all)

    Bitdefender Internet Security 2014 - Value Edition - 3 PCs / 2 Years (11.99)

    2 x Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus 2014 3 Devices (4.99 each)

    1 x ESET Smart Security 6 - 3 PCs (11.99)

And still have a Norton IS 2012 bought couple years back been setting on.

i have done webroot rebates a few times and just know they do take a good while. i would honestly say it was 2-3 months before i got the rebate back. these are not newegg rebates they are directly through who ever does the rebates for webroot (i know it is not newegg) i did get them back every time they just took a really long time. i now tend to buy av software at just really cheap prices instead of doing rebates which i used to do all the time. a couple years ago at any one given point i was waiting for probably a total of like 20-50  rebates for all different things, it was great getting all the $ back but i just got tired of constantly waiting for them all.

Just to add to that newegg deal. If you had this, $9 off w/ promo code EMCWVTJ92, ends 1/8. It comes out to $5.99. Really good price. :thumb:

    Thank you kjdemuth.

I asked this because I have keys of kis 2010 and I can not use in the version 2014 only up to 2013...

I hope this does not happen with WSA

Not that I've noticed. I've used keys from 2-3 years ago. Unless they change the policy.
