Thanks for the link. Maybe not the exact same issue but they may be connected in some way.

This made me notice that I forgot to add that I have 4 GB of RAM, if this is relevant.

Yes could be related to that other issue and after disabling MBAE and/or restarting the and trying again it worked.

Probably a couple months of delay, but we're getting closer.

It would be if December was an official and fixed date, which it wasn't.

    Re: Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit 0.09.4.1000

I got the issue fixed last night after not being able to get Windows update to to download patches following the July patches.
(I only followed DougCuk's advice and installed the latest cumulative patch for my version of IE and then enabled Windows Update again. It worked like a charm.)

I had experimented with MBAE during this period but the problem persisted before ever tried MBAE and following removal. It seems the issue was entirely on MS's end. (Though I never even considered the possibility of MBAE being the cause.)

well when the beta ends they don't have to crash the browser..

then not to mention they never even mentioned it.

    now i suspicious

i sure hope they are not headed down the sippery slope as many others have done. labled bought by MS later.

Sorry for this guys. The expiration date has been changed in the new upcoming version but it has not been finished checking by QA.

Please upgrade to the next version 0.09.5.0250 preview:

Installed new version everything is OK. No issues with EMET 4.1. Will you cover Dragon with betas?

Thanks for confirming. As for covering other apps, answer is in FAQ number 8:
    https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=136424

To add to that, we are designing a way to allow users to add new custom shields, but this is still post 1.0 for now.

    Hello Pedro:

Just in case a user gets busy and doesn't install the next version before 0.09.5.0250 preview expires, when does this new preview version expire?

    Re: Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit 0.09.4.1000

This bugged me out for awhile because I couldn't open a browser - any browser. but I could see the browsers had been started in task manager.

Finally MBAE had a pop up saying that I needed to update the beta software.

Actually its nice to see that MBAE can lock down the browsers and other programs it looks at since its so light running even memory wise you wouldn't even know its there.
