Ok bit of a long story here, not that long ago I bought a HP Ultrabook and when I bought it, it came with 1 year free Norton Internet Security, not this expires in Aug 2014 (long way yet).

I got an email from ESET a few days ago offering me 25% discount voucher on all their products eg NOD32 or NOD32 ISS (Internet Security Suite).

MY main question here is I know I still do have a lot of free period left on my Nortons ISS but should I dump and rid rhe Norton for the ESET ISS.

    Thanks

You can download trial version of ESS and see how you like it. Then you can decide whether you change it or not.

If I were you I would use ESS. I like it better than Norton IS.

    Hey Albinoni
Even though I am a Fanboy of eset, then I think it's a waste to throw away a year of free excellent protection. Keep Norton, and if you will shift vendor after a year of free trail, then I have no doubt whatsoever, that you will be able to find a similar offer from Eset at that time.

    Regards Janus

I have to agree, use Norton until it expires then go for ESET!

use norton first, then trial eset. don't buy before you try, that's my motto

Trial before buying and A vs. B is against forum rules... you keep asking these type of questions and your threads keep getting closed :D

no need to waste the remaining subscription for NIS, it's a very capable security suite. in august 2014 you can trial Eset if you like, there sure will be offers.

I would not recommend to dump symantec-norton for eset. You won't get better protection with Eset then with Norton!!

    Good Luck.
