    hello
I tested again look and stop 2.7 and appguard 4 only on my seven 64, it is the lightest configuration I found, and I think quite secure...

Thanks Overkill for the quick reply, much appreciated :D

I would have to agree with you on that, there is definitely some room for improvement.

Although, the detection seems to be a lot better than what it was in version 8.

Funny thing is that I'm still unsure how much protection WSA provides, but if I weren't using it I probably wouldn't be using an AV at all. WSA is so light I don't mind having it there and there's some good evidence that it's very effective.

He has been very quiet, except for a few ESET comments. Worried about the NSA I guess...:argh:

Just recently tried the latest version of EXE Radar Pro. 2.7.7.0 isn't it? Of course, I deleted my SRP rules first to avoid any possible overlaps.

Well, I managed to screw up the OS with it, which means a good thing because it works. The only problem I had was the popup disappeared when I resized it, made the process to be running in memory but not visually executing. I don't really remember what the blocking options were, but if it's not there yet, it'd be nice to have an option to "block and terminate process" because some processes are so persistent and gave me endless notifications, so I needed to manually terminate them in the Task Manager. Still not quite sure how strong it really is though. I couldn't blacklist DLL or anything other than EXE.

Using Outpost Security Suite Pro for it's amazing Firewall and Web Control, but throwing in NoVirusThanks EXE Radar Pro with Lockdown Extreme enabled, just in case Outpost's Malware module decides to let something slip through :thumb:

Decided to change my setup a little bit as I was having some issues with avast (not mentioning anything :D )

So right now Im running Quihu 360 Internet Security

    CryptoPrevent

and I purchased a license to NVT exe radar pro

of course reading grafzeppelins comments above me I'm second guessing the decision to add that into the mix now:doubt:

I see in-cloud technology partners: Bitdefender, Emsisoft, Kaspersky Lab

Merry Christmas RR! I'm trying something different today, going light on the main security and loading up Chrome with extensions. WOT, ABP, TL, VTchromizer and LP should take care of any Gringchy activities.
