And I just sold my trusty old TrendNet wired router. Guess I need to make a tinfoil hat, 'eh? Hearts also have an electric system.

Clears ambient fields for large-area EMF protection. The SafeSpace 1 is a groundbreaking technology designed to clear and protect your environment from detrimental electromagnetic fields and more. Our powerful SafeSpace I features a holographic grid encased behind a metal grille. The grid is permanently coded with vibrational frequencies designed interact with EMFs in your environment to create a tangible positive change. Result: EMF protection, increased life force, and enhanced clarity.
I have one of these and feel like i did before Wi-Fi routers...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038472VU/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1

When I read product descriptions like this I cant help but to wonder if this is before or after it summons the elf that brings me ice cream.

Anyone that believes claims like this should read THIS. A technique used to glue together poorly written scifi should not be used to sell you something.

Radio does no harm to humans.
    Second, we are not plants.

Don't place a wifi device in the same room as your marijuana plants.

My favorite part about that device is that it seems to violate the need for line of sight. A Faraday cage works because it completely surrounds what you are shielding thus eliminating the line of sight issue. Why would sticking something somewhere in your room affect any EMF not traveling through it?

I don't see how it possibly can. To me, it looks like they're using a badly applied noise cancelling technique that's used in some vehicles and rooms where the same noise is sent from a speaker in the opposite direction to cancel out the original sound. In order to work, it has to send the exact same sound at the same frequency and phase, something that device clearly can't do. I doubt the technique would work on RF anyway. I don't think you can cancel out RF the same way that you can physical sound waves. Care to bet that it's claimed results are due to the placebo effect?

The documentation on placebo effect is astounding and conclusive. Your mind has far more control over your bodies systems than seems possible. If what we believe did not have the kind of control that it does, a lot of companies would go out of business.

    Mine do.

Results of that experiment might be true, but to make a sweeping generalisation is just FUD.

Sorry, but the articles linked to in that thread are BS or actually arguing against there being any real evidence and your more likely to get killed falling off a ladder or run over by a bus.

After nearly two decades of research utilizing the principles of quantum physics and subtle energy technologies, we’ve perfected products that are:..http://www.safespaceprotection.com/

I have a feeling that they needed to add that technobabble to get around the whole line of sight problem.

"how does your product block EMF that is not in line of sight between you and the source?"

"we use ......principles of quantum physics....... :) "

Its funny how you can find anything explaining these "principles". They try to but it is hilariously obvious that they do not even understand the basics of EMF. Take this for example:

So it seems that since they sort of understand that photons can act like particles and they may even understand the experiment where you can visualize photons interfering with themselves as they take 2 different paths at once but it seems that they forgot the main point of that experiment. The photons have to pass THROUGH something to have that effect. You cant place the medium at an arbitrary location and see the quantum effect, it has to be line of sight. If you have not seen it before, check THIS out. This is real quantum physics and it is amazing.

We are all free to believe or not whether something might be dangerous to our health. Switching off a wifi router at night or whenever I don't need it, won't make my life miserable.

If I was to put a WiFi device behind a curtain next to your head you would not be able to tell me when it was on or off, you would be 50% accurate. Confirmation bias and placebo are what you are experiencing, the curtain is the cure.

This is also the case for reiki practitioners. Put a curtain in front of them and all of a sudden they are 50% accurate when detecting if a human hand is under their hand.

Agreed, but to try and reinforce those beliefs with flawed arguements and references just spreads FUD.

Even if scientists would reconfirm, that EM causes cancer, people would keep using EM devices, we are too dependant on them like on cigarettes. That was the plan anyway.

EM can cause cancer - depending what frequency, power and what time of exposure. Gamma radiation from a reactor and radio from a router are not the same thing, but most people think they are.
