    3. SecureAPlus Beta 2 - Testing of the beta version. The date of this beta will be confirmed later.

More information will be announced as the date draws nearer to SecureAPlus Beta Preview ;)

Great video. SO does the lockdown mode block legit unknown apps installing?

Also how is secureaplus doing on 32bit win 8.1 pro with WMC with toolwiz timefreeze and sandboxie installed and 360 IS or eset? Any issues? Unfortunately I can not test it since I do not have my VM anymore.

It seems secureaplus server are down? I just tried the site and clicking on freemium or free download get nothing and web page not available message. Only the main page "secureage.com" is working.

Sorry 1000db and taleblou, the data center that host SecureAPlus web server is closed for maintenance. Everything will be back to normal after 24 hours. You can then download SecureAPlus after that. SecureAge main website is not affected because it is hosted in another data center.

Sorry for any inconveniences caused. I should have informed you guys earlier. My sincere apology for my oversight.

Hi taleblou, thank you for liking the video. The lockdown mode is able to automatically block any program that is not found in the trusted list. So if SecureAPlus is in Lockdown Mode and you wish to install any legitimate software that is not found in the trusted list, you need to first trust the program as a trusted installer. If not, the installer program will not be able to run.

Regarding SecureAPlus' compatibility with WMC, we have to do further testing. We will keep you posted on the outcome once we have completed testing :)

    Cheers,

    Hi guys

The latest release of SecureAPlus Version 2.0.21 is now available.

Here are the changes in this version:

    3. Optimizing SecureAPlus for VMWare.
    4. Comodo Dragon Browser (dragon.exe) is added to the list of restricted applications.
    5. Besides whitelist database, other settings like "Trusted Certificates" and "Trusted accounts" are also saved in the exported whitelist.
    6. More speed options are added to the whitelisting process: Slow, Normal and Fast.
    7. SecureAPlus Installation Guide and User Guide are updated.

    Great job, sinlam!

One minor text correction...... "cpu" should be "CPU".

    Hi Overkill,

We have tested it on Windows 7 and SecureAPlus seems to work fine with AppGuard.

By default, AppGuard's protection level is "Medium". If you already have AppGuard installed on your machine, you have to first lower its protection level to "Install" level.

    appguard.jpg

After you have successfully installed SecureAPlus and the background initial whitelisting has started, you can then switch AppGuard's protection level back to "Medium".

    Hope this helps.

    Hi siketa,

Thanks for pointing this out :)

The mistake actually comes from the release note. Wrong image is used for the release note. We have already put in the correct image.
