    Interesting.
Wonder if this is because of being in the beta channel. I haven't seen this, but my installations are usually short-lived and probably haven't generated enough data for this to trigger.

    Thanks Triple!

Yes, been seeing this for past couple of days, and it's an informative addition :thumb: but...:D think it would be necessary to provide a choice to disable the pop-up notification (if not already present), as repeated recurrance could become irritating.

Is this something that showed up with the new update (which I have yet to receive)?

17 threats removed since March? Geez.

Nothing to do with any update they can send special messages and in the GUI they can change this section at any time.

An unwelcome addition, in my opinion. The pop-up when I started my laptop today was a little annoying.

For a little thing like that? It doesn't take much to annoy users.

A little annoying, nothing more. Mainly because it looked so amateurish compared to the lovely GUI of the program.

    Hi Seeker

Not that I disagree with you...but perhaps a suggestion to the development team re. the points made might get that changed.

They are very open to feedback from users. ;)

    Regards, Baldrick

We've been working on the messaging for this for quite some time - I don't have too many specifics as to where it's being rolled out, but we're hoping to give users more visibility into what happens on their system.

Joe one thing I very much want to see communicated is the monitored processes. I totally recognize the rabbit hole this is though.

From your perspective, managing a large number of endpoints, that would be fantastic. From my job perspective, that might give us a lot more support type calls where I work if it showed that. (personally, I like the idea, I just always worry about how the call volumes that may arrive with changes) A lot of the 'run of the mill' users may get a bit worried if they saw how many processes are being monitored, not fully understanding what that means.

I didn't have it, but it looks nice :) ,,Nothing to do with any update they can send special messages and in the GUI they can change this section at any time."
-> I think its nice too, but a scrollable panel would be more useful don't you think? Or maybe more stuff there, there is a lot of unused space on that panel.

It's gone from my GUI 3 or 4 days ago maybe it was a test run?

I never have seen it. Hoping that I do eventually, it looks like a neat addition to the UI, even if it does do something like turn on just one or two days a month to offer the stats

Is there any way to stop this pop-up from appearing all the time? I have clicked on the "Learn More" button and read the report but the pop-up continues to appear every time a user logs on. Other members of my family who I've given licences to are hounding me to get rid of it!

Surely once you've read the personalised report it should no longer keep reminding you to do so. Is it a case of every user on the same keycode must read it before it will go away, or will it just disappear eventually?

joe we need a way to turn this off as far as a pop up goes. many business clients i have who use webroot are not going to want this popping up on their systems. otherwise its cool. just please allow this to be turned off if someone wants

It shouldn't be sent to business keycodes, so I don't think there will be any issue there.

It shouldn't continue to remind you - could you PM me your keycode so that I can have the team investigate?

    Thanks!
