It installed but will not run - indicates error. Sent report to site.....hope it's something I have installed that is blocking it from running, lol.

i don't personally don't need this to test my system security.

i would probably get a score of zero as i don't use any real-time security.

unless you call UAC at default a security device. ;)

i forgot, i also have the Windows Firewall turned on.

The usefulness of the test, imo, is in the process, as much as in the results.
For a user to see the steps involved and the blocks in place when downloading, installing and running a program... and to understand them and not declare that something must have stopped the process (but you are not sure what)... to me that is valuable. It denotes control, not mystery.
The results also helped me in that I was reminded that my system lacks disk encryption... something I have been slowly trying to bring forward from the back burner, but should perhaps prioritize.
The test is certainly not the ultimate end-all, but it has its merit, as I have described above... a security drill, for want of a better term. :)

    Hi The Shadow,
my score is 90 using a setup that is very similar to yours (we have different AVs of course), I did the test in shadow mode, and checking their score chart, the only area where my security didn't score at all [0/10] is disk encryption. I'm wondering which area in your score failed to give you 100?

I am discounting the 0 out of 20 on the backup check because it apparently did not recognize that I do backup with third-party software so I am giving myself a total of 70/80. For some reason it docked me 10 points from the anti-virus check.
