    Hello guys,

I am looking for a good non-US password manager. Is there anything you can recommend? Until now I have been using roboform but since the latest revelations concerning the NSA eavesdropping delusion I decided to throw this away.

They don't need to crack your password manager... they just get access from the source of whatever service you use or sniff your SSL communication :D

But ok... a good non-US password manager is: http://www.password-depot.com/

Popcorn! Congratulations, you're the first - we'll likely be seeing a phletora of requests like this in the near future. You may want to consider a non-US operating system as well :)

Another vote for Keepass. I would never use Roboform or anything from that company. When they sell you lifetime free upgrades, and then shortly afterwards tell you that your lifetime has passed, that company is already untrustworthy.

Use anything that does not stores the info in the cloud and encrypts the DB. :D

I wonder when people are going to start having US IP blocklists, China and Russia are already widely accepted.

Thing is, nobody uses them. I confronted people about their justifications for blocking countries like China and Russia, but not USA. They said malware (USA also full of), spying (ironic), and amount of use. I wonder how that changed.

Is all of the softwares you use (except the OS as I assume you use Windows) made in other countries too?

If not, then why is it important that a tiny password manager is,
but nothing else, like the web browser to name one example.

    Just curious :)

you can bet the the USA is not alone in this.

i'm pretty sure you could replace "USA" with any country name you chose.

the result would be the same.

Hello everyone, good question. I know one - Sticky Password - www.stickypassword.com - they are based in Czech Republic - Europe. They are security gurus - they have been working in AVG Antivirus before and Avast Antivirus is also from Czech Republic. Pretty safe country and great security experts there. They will never allow NSA to take over their data.
Kaspersky are using their technology for their password manager, so they are pretty trusted I think.
