Can anyone please test this for me(if you are behind a router and you have another pc to make this test plausible): Set Network Security to High, and see after that if you see other pc in Network or if your computer is visible from another pc, I ask this because I have the suspicion that after you set Networks Security to High(from Privatefirewall UI), your pc is still visible over the network, when normally Privatefirewall should block this. Thank you!

This firewall got better with this last version ,but it has problems.
Having in mind i can sniff the traffic of the PC where it is used i can tell you that it has some flaws.

For example if i made a rule for BF BC2 to connect to port 80 only for a specific IP range (the EA servers ) it will ignore it and connect at any IP for that port.A rule meant to block gaming servers banners that arrive on port 80.

If i set manually the PING types i want ,in the application rules for the system, my settings seem to be ignored or are used randomly.

If i block DHCP v6 stuff all together the Outbound pockets still get out

If i manually make a rule for a game in the application section ,then it may not get into effect until i tick this rules in the other 2 sections that i set only to custom.Fail to see those purpose as they double the application rules.

If you set to block a specific website and insert the name into the block list DNS request for that site will be made at every start up :)
I though i blocked them not to be called ever again :)

    Not a very consistent behavior.

Cant test exactly what you need as i have uninstalled it.

Well thanks for that, indeed this firewall isn't that strong after all, but all the leaking that you mention could be the fault of avast webshield, avira webshield, depending what av you have. And yes I uninstalled too, back to my old CIS.
Sadly this firewall need to keep up with the current changes in av world, but apparently nothing will change (compatibility with avast webshield for ex)

Keep in mind that this firewall does not intercept the loopback traffic.
    So avast may jump over.
Use the firewall with the Windows antivirus if you re using Windows 7.If you get infected with new stuff neither of them will block the infection anyway ,only your Private firewall HIPS decision may help you in this scenario.

It blocks stuff ,but it s not yet bullet proof.

At least it is evolving with every new version :)
