Best way to setup Whonix ?

    Hi what is the best method to install Whonix, in regards to being more secure and anonymous ?

    I was planning on running my Windows 7 with Tomato VPN Router and then just installing Whonix from virtual box.

    But any tips or methods is appreciated !

    I am planning to setup Whonix on bare metal. Question do you have to setup workstation and gateway in order to enable all Whonix security features? My problem is I currently do not have two boxes to devote to Whonix. Side question, can Whonix be used to access clearnet without the limitations of TOR.
