Free budget/personal finance program?

I just got my first job on Thursday. Now that I have an income, I will be paying for things every month as well, so I'd like a program to keep track of how much I make, and be able to budget a certain percent to different areas as expenses, such as rent, savings, taxes, automotive, food, etc. I'd like one preferably with a pie chart, and it has to be free. Thanks!

 

Thanks, but those all seem kind of plain and dated. This website services seems exactly what I'm looking for, and it seems highly recommended by sites like Forbes, but it is all cloud-based and requires creating an account. If there is a program like this, I would love to hear about it.

You may want to consider waiting for a Black Friday deal. There seems to be finance software heavily discounted or with some discounted bundle of other software (like tax software) that's on special around Black Friday.

I have always preferred MS Money. I'm still using the 2003 version. When MS stopped making Money, they released a free version they call the Sunset edition. There is more info here and the download is here.

 

I have always preferred to build my own spreadsheets. Nothing is more flexible and customizable.
