    +1

I don't like this type of advertisement. They are already claiming that they provide the world's most private email and it is not even released yet.

"state-of-the-art encryption, Open PGP..." that's a very vague description of how it works. Provide a detailed description of the service, prove its safety and then let the users and security experts decide whether it's the best or not.

That's why it's the world's most private email. If you can't use the servcie, then no one can read the emails your not sending.

NL is a bad choice , it now has a rightist gov. which ( if at all possible) would like to hack every pc in the universe!

Has anyone signed up as a beta tester? It would be nice if you'd share your first impressions. Tests should start next week if I'm not mistaken.

StartPage protects you from NSA surveillance and spying.
Your search session with StartPage is protected through powerful SSL encryption so
no one - not hackers, not your ISP, not even the federal government - can eavesdrop
on your searches. (Read more here)

StartPage is a Dutch company, so it is not under US jurisdiction.
Because our company is based in the Netherlands, US data collection programs
like PRISM, the Patriot Act, FISA courts, etc. do not directly apply to us.
We have never cooperated with spying programs like PRISM. (Plus we have no
    user data to begin with.)

Based on this info will have to wait and see how they handle their e-mail program.
    More info is needed.
