    The 2014 web filtering extension cannot be installed manually because it depends on your keycode being set in the database with the necessary capabilities. There is still quite a lot of time over which the extension is being rolled out, so if you have not received it yet, it's not an indication of a problem.

    Techfox1976 is correct. The manual installation of the extensions I have described is only valid for a case when the modules (Web shield & Password manager) are already rolled out/ to your WSA.

    Yes but if he were to download the update the application manually it should update the web extension soon after. Then complete the steps that you provided. That's what I did.

    (Edit) just to clarify, I did not mean install the extension manually. I meant install the application manually. Then web filter should update soon after.

    As it been already said, the roll out scenario is based on keycodes, so I don't want to speculate but tend to think that it was just a coincidence that you have received the new shield soon after update of WSA. I know many users from the Webroot Community who didn't receive the shield yet regardless on manual WSA update.

    Yep, I can also confrim this was probably a cioncodence, based on a few of my buddies's and my own experience

    I already did that. Anyways, the update finally arrived today.

    Again my bad, I was trying to watch Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy at the same time.
