I am going to do limited user account, its windows 8, going to have K9 Web Protection set to block malicious sites, phishing sites and porn, Comodo Internet Security free version set to auto quarantine and block for sandbox (also password protected), WOT set to block and he won't know any of the passwords. Do you think that is good?

My boys are 8 and 11 and are not yet at the stage where they'll go looking for porn - though the 11 year old does look for a lot of other crap recommended by his school peers. I'm sure K9 will take care of the dark-side whether that be either actively sought or passively found.

Beyond that though, I would definitely add Returnil or some other system drive virtualisation so that you don't have to spend hours disinfecting (Windows?) when he inevitably does something dopey or gets hit by a nasty.

I'd also take a baseline image once you're all set to hand the machine over to him.

What you do about allowing him to install stuff is another matter...
