What I'd like to do is configure it to monitor one folder and automatically update another folder to reflect the state of the first one. For example, if save a file in folder A it'll save the same file in folder B. Or if I change a file in folder A and re-save it, it'll automatically re-save the new version to folder B.

Thanks newbino. I tried SyncToy but it requires .NET Framework so that's a no-go, for me at least. I found a couple of others and tried 'em (FreeFileSync and Allway Sync). So far I'm pretty impressed with Allway. Supposedly it's got a 40,000 files per month limit for the free version but I don't foresee ever reaching that limit. Actually, I don't think I'm even gonna need auto sync. Allway's so fast I can just sync manually when I'm done working.

My preference is SyncFolders (free) for scheduled, and Syncback SE (not free) for real-time. Both have versioning.
