here is a message we have just received from a user :

<<The latest version was blocked by AVG, my AVG is Internet Security 2013, it is up to date,
I tried several times, AVG said it was a virus.
I did a complete scan if found what it called a virus. I had to give up.>>

I don't know exactly how much users we've already lost today... :(
    Thank you AVG

    Aother one, just received :

<<Your last update seem to come up has a treat for AVG anti virus.
Both the installer and the remover made avg pop up that they were threats.>>

    THANK YOU AVG.
Avg bought "Tuneup utilities" and "privacy fix".
Maybe they do not want to see PrivaZer having too much success...

Try not to get too downhearted, even good AV's have the occasional 'off' day. As you know, NOD32 identified a 'possible' trojan in a recent release but that was very quickly cleared up (in 24 hours or less?).

Keep up the good work and I'll make another donation :thumb:

    There is a difference.
We could easily communicate with ESET : we are now on ESET / NOD32 white list.

    Concerning AVG, still no answer...
    It is so frustrating...

    Email from AVG.

    <<Dear Sir/Madam,

    Thank you for your email.

Detection on mentioned software should now be fixed. Please update your AVG And check the situation again.

Update your AVG as described in FAQ 3271:

    We apologize for any inconvenience.>>

I've run Privazer on the decoy with no ill effect. I do have the "D" partition hidden from Windows using disk management (so a raw disk doesn't show up in explorer - but device manager can still see it). YMMV, backup, backup, backup :D

The reason for zero's may be for SSD's - I believe the firmware writes a 0 during Trim, so no need to wipe it again with Privazer...saves time. OR Privazer is hard coded to look for 0's on all drives (SSD & Platters) to once again, save time.

    PD

I donated without ever using the product just because of the support from the PrivaZer Team. I have since installed and tried the product. It was worth way more than the donation I made.

    @PaulyDefran
    Hello Pauly,
    1. thanks for the test with Truecrypt decoy
    2. As you assumed it, PrivaZer will not clean again sectors containing zero's
so that you will save time and preserve your SSD or HDD lifetime (This is our unique "Smart free space cleanup" feature)

    Hi The_PrivaZer_Team,

I can't uncheck all context menu in advanced options, if i desactivate and click ok they still remain checked.

I use 2.6.2 version, and also when i upgraded from previous one the installer re-install completly Privazer not just like other upgrade.

And i can't get my donors version 2.6.2.

    Regards

    Rules.

    @The_PrivaZer_Team

    Thanks for your fast response.

This is not un upgrade error, when i upgrade to 2.6.2, Privazer's installation was like the first time you install-it on a fresh OS installation.

    Regards,

i 've got this screenshot when i upgraded to 2.6.2 from 2.6.1, i don't remember if licence agreement follow this one.

But i you can't reproduce the issue, it could be a local bug, so nevermind:) , the next upgrade will run smoothly for sure.

Okay, I meant the "RAW" partition which is the second one layed out on the disk...the one containing the Outer and Hidden volume. Normally, when in decoy, Windows will complain that it needs to format it when you open Explorer. I hid it in Device Manager so that there is less of a chance of Windows "helping" you by formatting your Hidden OS. I have then run Privazer on the decoy and it did nothing to second partition. I have no need to run it on the Hidden OS, because it's A. Encrypted, and B. it's Hidden...but it will probably be ok there too.

I have a problem with Privazer (last version portable) since I have upgraded from windows 8 64 bit to win 8.1 64 bit
If in Advanced Options - memory indexing
I check on PagefileSys at next pc shutdown only
My pc shutdown is realy slow not only at the next shutdown (that is normal) but every shutdown.
If I uncheck PagefileSys at next pc shutdown, well my pc start to shutdown regolary well (3 seconds because I have a ssd)
So my case it seems as Pagefilesys at nex shutdown only is equal at each pc shutdown
This not happens in win 8, Privazer perfectly clean PageSys only at next shutdown, working perfectly.
Could be only my pc but if you can check .... thanks

    Greetings PrivaZer Team

In Memory Indexing to delete Pagefile i also experience a noticeable delay but on Windows 8 x64 standard no 8.1

I just assume that process it's a normal function since it takes additional time to wipe away the pagefile. I dunno.

Anyway since the delay is been longer on reboot i simply uncheck that setting and only check it back on occasions i wish PrivaZer to clean it.

Keep up the great improvements. PrivaZer equals number 1.

    Easter.

Posted this in the wrong place so Im reposting here.
    Love PrivaZer. Donated.
Still waiting for PrivaZer programmers to make the option "close when completed" stay checked from one use to another. Been asking for months.
