Congratulations to the Webroot team for another outstanding product!:thumb:

Since the initial 2013 product was v8.0.2.27 and the 2014 product is v8.0.4.17, I can just wonder and dream what v9.0.0.0 will be like!!

You can just click any application in the list and change it from 'Allow' to 'Block'. It only applies to active applications, so if you want to block one that isn't running, just start it and you can set it to block (the same as in the 2013 product).

Let me know if that works on your side!

Where do you enter exceptions for the webshield in the 2014 version?
For example, I want to always allow httpx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com.
    Thanks.

Just wondering if there is a way to sort the list of active applications alphabetically or by program name?

If you have the new web filtering (which shows as a full blocked website), the configuration is just held in a local file - C:\ProgramData\WRData\wrURL\Whitelist.txt, or you can click to allow it within the dialog. If you have the 2013 web filtering, just click 'Allow' when the block prompt shows.

No, we sort them first by if they are monitored or allowed, then by the start time (which one started most recently).

How would I "allow" a website and then later "block" the same website?
    Thanks.

Our support team can clear the block for you, or you can remove it from the Whitelist.txt file. We don't expose it via the UI currently as we saw very few users changing website classifications in the 2013 product.

I don't see the file Whitelist.txt. I'm allowing to see hidden files but still don't see it. I see Wrlog with the line "website determination changed", but not the file Whitelist.txt.
I'm guessing removing and reinstalling WSA would also remove the website from the whitelist.
    Thanks.

That sounds like you're still on the 2013 web filtering then, and indeed, it is not visible in the UI. You'll need to uninstall/reinstall to clear it out.

Great! For what it's worth, could you let me know what version you had installed previously so that we can ensure this will work without having to install fresh in the future?
