funny, just tried to install on win 8.1 windows says it has known compatibility issues and it wont let it install.

guess i have to contact their support.

i installed OSS 8.1.1 (from the correct link) on a virtual win 8.1 system. no problems at all. is working fine both on the VM and the base win7 x64 pc. the VM got a clean install & the win7 got an update install, reloaded the old config.
