Would much rather see Macrium do the acquisition. That would be an excellent combo.

    i agree with you 100% !!!

there are ways to do thing around the market world , this thing isso did is not the right way ! not the logic way either o_O

if he got any issue buying \ selling ax64 he should tell that to its register users , not keep them and us in the dark...anyway that my openion and that what i was doing instead of him

    cheers :D

Really, but what part of the commercial world do you not understand? If what everybody thinks is happening is then they may be in the disclosure phase when nothing is settled and during which buyer usually do not want anyone other than the concerned parties in the know. Duh!

You don't stop selling your product during an acquisition. This looks like a "cease and desist" situation, many of which comes from patent disputes. It happens a lot with innovative products such as AX64. Patent trolls are everywhere.

Its no way to run a business period to stop selling during whatever

No normal retail business would survive in a location doing this it would the "Kiss of Death"

Don't know about anyone else amongst the original posters...but this thread has gone downhill rapidly in the last couple of days. I am done as this is pointless until we hear something either from Isso, or about his position from a 'reputable' source...see yaz!

Whenever ANYTHING happens without warning, prior notice or is unexplained, speculation is inevitable....Its human nature, people have bought this product and we were told that it was an ongoing and maturing product...Isso was very active and helpful up till now.....If he can't respond personally due to reasons unknown then why can't one of his partners?.....They must be aware of the part Wilders has played in the story of AX64.....The opportunity to buy AX64 has been removed from the AX64 site, lets not kid ourselves that its an oversight and is simply in need of attention.....WHAT IS GOING ON!

Hey guys, if you care to search, you'll see that Isso's last post was Sept. 13th. That's not even 2 weeks. Let's give him a break and the benefit of the doubt. Let's give him some more time....

    Hey.... I already said that!

Stop already with these speculation and opinions. Wait.

You all have backup imaging tools so just use those for now if AX64 is worrying you.

Post flaming is a waste of energy and time

Well, I guess if you want to speculate that AX64 has been sold (or anything else you wish to speculate about) you are free to do so, but I see no point to it.

I do agree that it would be nice to know whats going on but we cannot force Isso to do something that he either does not want to do, or is unable to do. And really, these are the only 2 reasons for the silence that I can think of,,,,that he does not want to communicate,,,,,,or he cannot.

Given what I saw of him over the last year I have decided to believe he cannot,,,,if you wish to believe something else that is certainly your prerogative,,,,but I see no point to debating the issue,,,or speculating about it.

Another interesting possibility thrown into the mix of possible reasons, still speculation but its an interesting, if unpleasant one. My preferred speculation, if I was to pick the one I would prefer to be true, is a sale of the product. Its better than thinking that there are health problems (not likely given whats going on), or some sort of legal problem. Still my preference carries no weight and no value.

C&D do not bind you to secrecy, though.

I thought this forum was about AX64 not ISSO.

Well, you can't even use AX64 Time Machine without Isso. And I don't just mean him creating it, but also offering support and a way to purchase the product within 30 days.

Sure, the above might not be necessary for some of us, but there's little else to talk about without official support and new customers.

some what i got the feeling according to all reading lately on isso disappearing , is somehow ax64 violate any register patent made by some other company and that why isso gone and close the sell option in his site... i see no other logical approach who can lead to such weird step taken by isso ...

OK let's focus on AX64 itself.
I read a post just published today on some other forum:"Tried both 1.2.1120 and 1.2.1121 on Windows 8.1 Pro but both failed to backup let alone restore, few days ago i mailed the developer about windows 8.1 issue and he replied that they aware of it and already working on windows 8.1 and it'll be release soon."
So it appears the development of AX64 is still going on.
