Kaspersky 2013 crashing Windows 8 daily?

    I can't really remember when this started happening so I can't pin point what configurations has changed. I suspect its Kaspersky 2013 since everything else on my computer has been consistent. My Windows system would crash daily.

    I have file antivirus set to high heuristics and I suspect that is causing the problem. I have reduced it down to medium and it seems stable so far.

    Anyone experience anything like this?

    Could be a conflict with Agnitum ?

    I thought turning down the heuristics solved it but my computer just crashed again. It may be a conflict between KAV and OutPost but not sure how to resolve it.

    Try the default settings for KAV. It that doesn't work, probably a conflict.

    2 days so far and my computer hasn't crashed. It may be a conflict between KAV and OP.

    In OP, I had to give unrestricted access for KAV. In KAV, I had to add OP as an ignored program. Not sure which fixed it but it seems to run without a hitch so far...knock on wood.
