Anyone know how to get the 360 WebShield Plug-in to re-install? I have a laptop where this is not installed and would like to get it installed. I tried reinstalling the whole suite to no avail.

About the late real-time monitor start, I can confirm it's a real issue. I tested with the eicar file. Upon starting the computer, I could run eicar.com (only being stopped by CIS) with no reaction from Qihu. After a few minutes the real-time monitor kicks in, and if you download the file again it gets detected.

I can confirm that for the first couple of minutes, after reaching Desktop on startup, Windows Security lists my PC as needing an antivirus and spyware software. Then all of a sudden the notification messages disappear. That's quite a bit of time. Win 8 Pro 64 bit.

    Later...

The full program is installed except for the web shield. I would like that installed also for the reason you mentioned.

If you have it installed, look at your extensions for Chrome and see if you have a web shield plug in.

The anti-keylogger has been removed from 4.3.0.4200 (64-bit) on windows 8, it is still on the program on windows 7 in the updated version. Anyone know why this is?

Qihoo getting much love on Wall Street. Trading on the New York Stock Exchange (symbol QIHU), the rally in its shares continues- current market cap of 10.5 billion, shares up form 20 USD to a current 87 USD.

Hopefully those uninitiated in the ways of the market will not confuse market pricing and valuation with the efficacy and staying power of a given product or product line.
(I've watched many an issue skyrocket and then plummet back to earth over the years.)

Frankly, I'm not sure that discussing the company's stock market trading history here is a great idea as it may needlessly raise the specter of self-interest as opposed to a dispassionate discussion of the merits and faults of a given security app.

Just my two cents on the subject.

Why this is called "Triple" AV? It seems like "Dual" AV. Why QVM is counted as additional?

Its like Avast would say "Triple" AV coz of Signature, Evo-Gen & Dyna.

Am I missing something? Plzz give info.

Why QVM & Cloud is counted as 2, no other vendors count Cloud as additional?

QVM detections by HEUR/Malware.QVM*.Gen and Cloud is given my trojan.generic name.

BD by Trojan.Generic.KDZ.137482 and Gen.Varient.Kazy bla bl bla

QVM seems like their Heuristics protection & they are counting it as another engine & calling their product "Triple" engine which I think is misleading.

I agree with you. This is not the correct forum to be quoting stock prices.

Thanks for having the courage to speak up, Blues7. I've been wanting to say the same thing a good while now.

    An unexpected event.
After 68 days with 360 4.1.0.4031, this pops up today from XP Firewall.

Go to Folder Options>View, then uncheck "Hide protected operating system files". Then go to C:\. You'll see the Sandbox folder there.

Be sure to recheck "Hide protected operating system files" in Folder Options>View.

Why they stuck it there I don't know. o_O . Bad decision, IMO.
