a good vpn recommendation as of september 2013?

i need your recommendations for a good vpn provider. here's what's importnat for me:

1. speed
2. reliability
3. number of physical servers & number of available ip's
4. number of server locations in diverse countries
5. shared ip's, but also dedicated ip option in addition
6. user-friendly software, e.g. possibility to switch ip immediately, auto connection kill when vpn disconnects so the real ip won't leak,
7. unlimited ip switch
8. precauiton against dns-leak
9. multi protocol support (other than crappy pptp) & support for applications like skype, p2p, etc.
10. no cap, no bandwidth limitation, no speed limitation
11. support for win 8, 7 and xp
12. no logs if possible (not mandatory)
13. good support

also what do you think about these vpn providers? hidemyass, airvpn, vpn area, express vpn, pure vpn, private internet access.

I believe Boleh VPN would be your best choice from looking at what you have listed as requirements. They also have the best support of any VPN service I have tried. They have their own forum with a large community of users giving feedback. The only one I see listed that they may not support is shared IP addresses. I like IP crowding or shared IP addresses as well, but I don't believe they support it. I could be wrong. Maybe we could convince them to start supporting it. They do support dedicated IP's. They are very reliable. They have servers in many privacy friendly countries. They are not based in the USA. Their VPN client uses Open VPN protocol, and has DNS leak protection. They have no cap, no bandwidth limitation, and no speed limitation. They are P2P friendly. They do not log. They support Windows XP, Windows 7, and I believe they support Windows 8. I don't use Windows 8 so i'm not positive. You can visit their website to see. I have been a happy client for several years now. They are very flexible. You can use their service with anything. I only over viewed the requirements you listed. They also have other services that I have not listed. You should really check them out if you have not already. Their are some other good VPN services available, but Boleh is my favorite. I know of a few other good ones, but I think Boleh will suite your needs best. Their VPN service works with every application I have tried so far over the years. I think they still have a one day trial if you want to try them out.

Always try out the vpn to make sure it works for your own individual needs before you buy a long subscription.

I tried boleh and it had many positive points list in previous post. But I could not use boleh to access a site that I need vpn service for because all of its servers are blocked at that site.

Other thought. You should do internet searches for whatever vpn you are considering to see if they have been targeted or raided by police or government. That kind of information is not always mention in reviews. It could be a red flag that maybe the servers of the vpn are being monitored and the vpn owner maybe does not even know it.

I'm not sure that I know of any VPN service that meets all of your criteria.

Based on my experience and comments by other Wilders users, I recommend that you look at AirVPN, BolehVPN, iVPN, Mullvad and Private Internet Access.

For blocking leaks, it's better to use your own firewall, rather than depending on the VPN client.

Although it's reassuring when providers promise to keep no logs, I wouldn't really count on that.

thank you edge. do you think openvpn support alone would cause any problems? for devices or applications which might require other protocols maybe? btw, do you really need to choose a vpn which supports as many protocols as possible, do you really need them all? openvpn, l2pt, pptp, ssl, socks5, etc?
and what do you think of airvpn and purevpn, regarding those criteria in my first post? thanks.

i wish there were a vpn meets all those criteria. after i read posts by you guys here, i'm considering to go either with purevpn, air vpn, or boleh. but i'm not sure yet.
so i'm waiting for your comments.
and one more criterion i forgot to say is simultaneous multi login as it's pretty important for me.

I haven't reviewed all of your criteria, but I'm using PrivateInternetAccess and have been happy with them. Key points:

1. Fast
2. Reliable
3. Lots of servers
4. All over the world
5. Not sure about shared IPs
6. Very user friendly and includes a kill switch
7. Unsure about IP switching
8. Unsure about DNS leak, I use DNS Crypt
9. multi-protocol support
10. no caps
11. Support for XP, Win7 (unsure about Win8 )
12. They say they keep no logs
13. Good support

14. Inexpensive
15. Lots of users (security through obscurity)
16. Based in USA (I feel better about USA than most other countries although I think the law applies where the server resides, so maybe irrelevant)
17. Accepts bitcoin

That is not correct. DMCA is a USA law. Countries operate outside USA are not require to comply with USA law.

For both Insorg and PIA, all simultaneous connections must come from the same IP address.

I'm pretty sure that AirVPN, BolehVPN and iVPN only allow one connection.

 

BolehVPN is up to three if they are all different servers. Its not an official rule but one that's generally accepted among the staff and community there. IVPN"s rules are only one but a second can get away as long as they are not doing heavy activity and just browsing the web, they staff says.

Are you sure? I have only read that BolehVPN requires it to be the same IP. PIA's ToS do not state that it has to be the same IP.

No, I was just wrong. I mostly use PIA for terminal VPNs in chains, to get an IP temporarily in a specific place. I don't want those uses associated, so I have a bunch of overlapping monthly subscriptions.

SecurityKISS is the best free VPN that I know. Signup is simple, and they accept Tor IPs for signup and connections. Free accounts only get 300 MB per day, but they're a great tool for anonymously bootstrapping complex VPN chains.
