Note: Change language from French to English (Anglais) at the top, though it needs a little improvement. I am happy I took French in High School.

The service seems nice, but what does the owner get out of it? How does he support the hardware?

Right, that's impossible, assuming they have dedicated or VPS servers with root access. Looks like another site with good intentions, but lacking the technical background to set up something really secure.

They say they are ad-free and offer "Unlimited disk space".

Not even Yahoo and Google can afford those features, it keeps me wondering how a small company can pay for that. I doubt their Bitcoins donation button generates the necessary income.

What's the original French for that? I don't see it in the links posted.

    Thanks :)

OK, that's "The mails are stored on our server in a directory with your name."

But I still don't get how they prevent access by administrators.

I have been using it for a month or so. It's working "ok" so far, but I strongly don't recommend using this kind of services to send / receive any kind of sensitive or personal data (at least not without encryption).

With this kind of services I mean that there is no reason to trust a company (or whatever they are) that offers an ad-free and "unlimited disk space" email for free. Like "box750" said, I seriously doubt that they can make enough money to afford the cost of running the service just with donations.

    yeah, right...

BTW, I'm a newbie here so hi everyone! :D
