    Hello,

I just got a SAGUI.exe from the support which solved my problem.

I'll try some exploits and buffer overflows on it

Good reactivity once they catched my meaning, probably misunderstanding due to my poor English.

    A big tnx to them

I"m running XP SP2 build 2162, and have actually had less problems with it than anytime before. Like I say, I know that firewalls will sometimes block it, I have even had some firewalls block it when the firewall was disabled. So yes, check the log to be sure, but the firewall is pretty high on my suspect list. You might try uninstalling it completely just to see.

Same here Jack. I received mine in e-mail just this afternoon. The new SAGUI.exe fixed my startup issue. Kudos to Prevx tech support.

I have just come across the same error, my system has been running since a fresh install on Sept 9, like an absolute dream, until a few minutes ago when a SAGUI.exe error message popped up upon boot. I was still able to see everything, have copied the error message and sent the log as requested above to home-support@prevx.com After a reboot the error has not returned...

    Cheers :D

I have noticed this error when some services don't start properly, it's usually followed by a few other crashes as well. For me the main one with Prevx is Terminal Services, if you turn it off it will crash. I think XP SP2's DCOM Server Process Launcher is another one that did this. There may be a couple more as well, but I don't remember/know off hand.

I have fixed all my small problems with prevx, but the only problem i have now is while installing spysweeper i will come up with a buffer overflow and my computer will shutdown 60 secs later. So it seems i can't run this program while prevx is running?
