    No. Those are a completely different set of signatures we are talking about. The cloud based signatures often blacklist entire setups due to the way the system is set up. We don't intend to do that inside EEK or EAM. It simply isn't in our interest to block the installation of the latest Java update for example, simply because it contains the Ask toolbar which the cloud will happily do. Instead we specifically target the PUP installers embedded in those legitimate setups to allow the normal application to install, but block the PUP installation.

    Any news about Online Armor?
    It was very assertive under tallemu, Emsisoft bought it but it is forgotten now.

    Example;
    it cant block Spyshelter screenlogger test. Dedection rate: 1/11
    not a big deal. But problem is SS test is well known and released 1-2 years ago.
    Developer didnt try to add protection against this test.

    Once upon time, They fix leaks within 2-3 days when leak found

    thanks for info.

    It found some file as malware, which are not dedected by EAM.
    doesnt EAM use isthisfilesafe.com cloud? will you integrate?

    The cloud is only queried by EAM if an actual suspicious behavior is observed. We don't intend to change that behavior anytime soon.

    Both the progress bar as well as the tooltip will show worst case scenario sizes. This is done because the updater can't know how much data actually needs to be downloaded as it simply has no idea whether hybrid updates are available for any file that is about to be updated and if so how large the update will be. If you want accurate information, take a look into the update logs. They will show the actual download sizes.

    We may drop the size indicator completely in one of the next versions as a lot of people find it irritating. Especially because the progress bar can jump quite a bit when suddenly 7 MB are skipped as the corresponding 7 MB update shrunk down to a few hundred bytes and finished downloading instantly.

    Correct. But given the large number of files that were downloaded it looks more like an update from 8.0 to 8.1 instead of a normal signature update in 8.1.

    Would you mind posting the entire log, xXDarkStalkerxX?

    Those are both full updates. Are you sure you are using 8.1? Do you use any kind of proxy server or other network filtering software?

    Okay, I looked into this issue and found the problem. Just run an online update. The next update will then start to use hybrid updates properly :).

    All translations except the English, French, Dutch, and German ones are done by volunteers. It looks like the original translator abandoned the language file and it hasn't been updated since version 7.0. We usually keep those language files around even if they are incomplete primarily because it is better than nothing.
