lol my grammar sucks. I meant that PFW is very easy out of box but harder when you want to do advanced stuff.

Haha, same here. Haven't changed my setup much in the passed four months or so. I would, however like to give a HIPS another shot. I tried CFW and D+ and had issues with it. If I do, I'll give something else a try.

    I seem to be 'stuck'.

I am happy with the Security Setup that I have now, and I find it difficult to change.

Did you think about Private Firwall? It has a HIPS module.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

If it ain't broke, you haven't tweak it enough.

Anyway, I'm getting lazy to do periodic scans. So I think I'll just drop the idea of using AV altogether for now. Nothing will run without my explicit permission anyway.

I think I failed and just had to retry PeerBlock for IP blocking. Includes some interesting lists along with the usual Anti-P2P that I normally disable.

Adding back Comodo Cleaning Essentials, although the attached is undesirable. They don't support reporting HOSTS file modifications. No whitelist either, so I have to ignore it every time.

I think i finally found a setup that im happy with. Im just so much happier with 360IS than avast. Although i might be persuaded to change back with the avast 2014.beta/release

Just a lesson I've learnt from Kerodo-sensei. If I didn't encourage myself to keep trying out HIPS, I probably have already quit ever since I bricked my OS for the first time for this purpose. :D
