When I was using BDAV+ 2014 I noticed they started up dating it only 4 times a day as opposed to every hour ish with the 2013 version, so it could be that Q360 are pushing 1 or 2 large updates.

I think it's safe to assume you get the same db as BitDefender, only updated less often.

I just had to clean threats from a computer which Roboscan installed. Roboscan found two threats which it had said it removed, however this was not the case as they kept on being detected. I uninstalled Roboscan and replaced it with 360. It also found the same two threats when I ran a quick scan. It was able to remove one of the threats, but said it couldn't remove the second one. When I tried to clean the remaining threat a second time, I was give the option to reboot to remove it.

Guys,When I try to do a full scan. Can someone can explain me the difference between the 2 options of highest speed and best performance that is given during the scanning.Do they short the amount of files scanned or does it scan everything and only time factor matter, not sure how it works? :D

It's about your overall pc performance.
    High speed uses more resources.
Best performance is so you can carry on using the pc without problems whilst scanning.
At least that's what I assumed it meant. Other scanners do it this way.

A few things about this AV that need adressing. I myself have.not tested.this AV yet. But through what youtube videos i have seen i have.never seen its webguard.catch anything. Download protectiion yes,.but not webguard. Therefore im pairing.this with K9. Second i would like to see a bit more active HIPS (not comodo hips levek active).but i just ran the comodo leak test (outdated i know) and i never got a single popup which is a.bit concerning. Bsides.that i love it.

can someone check whether after installation of q360 a bitdefender service called scan is present in services?I uninstalled q360 a few weeks ago but noticed a bitdefender service today and am assuming at the moment that this was part of q360?

Thanks...for the info. Not sure why the service was left unless there was something i didn't take notice of when uninstalling.Anyway if anyone does uninstall at some point ,then maybe worth checking the services for that entry.

I have been trialing this software for a few days before posting. It is frigging amazing. Caught all the malware I threw at it and the web protection is outstanding. And its free. Go figure.:thumb:

Keep an eye at the Baidu Antivirus development then, they have Avira and a very strong cloud (comparable to or better than Qihu's). Right now they have update problems but they promised to fix them in August.

I use them both as they are light, Qihu currently as the real-time, with Baidu as on-demand (and Comodo as FW / on-demand AV).

Baidu cloud cant compare with qihu, it is too young, at least for now.
even kingsoft cloud better then baidu.

Anyone else have issues with 360IS falsely auto-quaranteening .rar files on download? Happened to be twice in the last two days. Time to try something else.
