Thanks for replying. Yes, the cloud is always up-to-date, but that's in theory. My 360 was reporting as being up-to-date, but I'm sure it wasn't. You now pretty much confirmed that.

Maybe it's a problem with my installation. I'll try reinstalling if it doesn't update the next time I check the PC it's on.

I've got the latest updates here, July 23rd, although the BD sigs have indeed been a day old in the past 2 days.

Good Evening! Was interested in taking 360 for a test drive. But both Webroot and Commodo...state that the website is known to contain malicious code...etc. Now I contacted Webroot to notify them of a False Positive reading...they have rectified the situation. Has anybody else received this notification from their security vendor? Sincerely...Securon

I just visited their website with NOD 32 V6. It did not detect any threat.

This just doesn't make sense to me. In this world of the 'fast buck' I'd have expected a lawsuit not a letter from the government.
Also if this is such a big thing why has this article not been picked up by other more well known sources?

I'm no 360 IS fan, in fact I use Avast, it just doesn't ring true somehow.
Especially the Microsoft bit, where's their lawsuit against these guys, where's the 'big story'?

    Unconvinced.

This refers to 'activities' virtually 1 year ago, August 2012.
There's been nothing 'high profile' from MS regarding this in over a year?
Why is this still relevant today?

I think one year is not enough to forget or to forgive unethical behavior from a security firm.

Oh, who cares about their past behavior.
Does the English version of 360 uninstall any other products, force you to use their web browser, or change your homepage? No.
    Then what's the problem?

    Be careful!
Nowhere does it state that any of this is indeed certifiably true.
Like I said before, accusations of fraudulent activity, linked in with Microsoft would have generated a larger story and indeed legal ramifications.
To date these don't appear to have surfaced leading to a very simple assumption.

Do you believe in the 'Loch Ness Monster', says here it's true/fact: http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Glob...-monster-is-real-former-Scottish-police-chief

Or would you be more inclined to if presented with more 'concrete' evidence??
