Finally received a reply from support:)
For Sandbox, it will be in the new version soon. Keylogger protection is supported in windows 8 32bit, but not in 64bit ( no info on whether it will be in the future )

Bidd- I've been running tests combining Q360 with Comodo Firewall and the results so far have been breathtaking. Specifically I shut off the Proactive Module of Qihoo and install Comodo Firewall at default- with the exception of changing the Sandbox level to Full V (I see no valid reason not to do this).

The Comodo Cloud detection turned out to be quite complimentary to Q360's already superb malware detection- often the Cloud detected those few samples that Q left leaving me very little to run. But run the remainder I did, and every time after either rebooting or clearing the sandbox the system was left in the same pristine state as it was prior to testing.

These products seem to like each other very much, as no significant negative system impact was apparent.

Qihoo's getting a sandbox? Nice. Will it be an auto-sandbox live Avast!'s, or a manual sandbox?

Thanks cruelsister for sharing those stellar results. And just like i discovered with Outpost Pro FW, Qihoo is extremely flexible when it comes to alternative security apps working perfectly together.

Your results may make me have one more try with Comodo again. Outpost is served well enough with Qihoo 360 but i still am not fully satisfied with my HIPS/FW choices yet.

The only info I have is what I have posted previously in reply 436, it appears to be an on demand Sandbox but don't quote me on that:doubt: I guess we'll see in the next release.

been testing this out and i have to say this is really very nice. so far imo this is probably one of the best free av's i have tested out. for me at least its honestly pretty light especially for a bd engine av. updating fine for me and scanning is reasonably fast.

I run Sandboxie, ERP and Firefox (Win 8 64 bit). A problem I'm seeing is 360 IS is not looking inside Sandboxie's sandbox during browsing or downloads. I tried to download the Eicar test file both with and without Sandboxie enabled for Firefox. Sandboxie enabled...no alert. Sandboxie disabled...I get an alert. 360 doesn't pick up the Sandboxie enabled Eicar download file until I right-click manually scan it. Other than that hiccup it seems to function fine (though it did take a while to set up Windows Firewall rules for it).

    Later...

    Bob

It does. I personally don't know of an AV that installs only for selected user accounts.

I'm not sure a bout your statement. Would you mind sharing details? Everyone else is reporting excellent results.

According to the vb100 rap test this software rates better than avg or avast. Nice.

I wouldn't give the RAP test that much attention, since it only tests on-demand capabilities. Also, your avatar....yeah....

been testing this out yesterday and today while doing some shady browsing for this purpose. so far so good has stopped everything i have seen so far. the real test will come when i put it through my ringer. one thing i did not like is that during the install of firefox ux nightly and firefox beta it insisted on asking me about literally everything and to allow or not each item. something like firefox should not have had to ask at install i had probably 20+ pop up questions just during the install of ux.

otherwise runs great and the system is very responsive no issues after sleep or any real boot time slow down. i only saw some slow down after install for maybe the first few hours where web pages were a bit slow to load and at times the system was a tiny bit slower. but it seems to have resolved itself and i assume it was settling in during that time which is common with many av's for a bit after fresh install. otherwise this is VERY nice for a free av and i could only maybe wish it had a true firewall built in to the "internet security" version with app control etc. otherwise this could be my go to for those who want a free av, will know after a few weeks of testing.

zFactor- I just downloaded from the FTP site installed FF 25a1 and did not receive any notifications at all. Did you get the popups when updating within the nightly?

Contrary, I would give attention to any tests, done by reputable organizations.

But keylogger protection works on Win7 x 64. Why not on Win8?

I really don't think that you need worry about that. Qihoo makes its money (like Google) through advertising. The ad money is generated primarily by people in China using its Browser and Qihoo Search functionality.

As Q360 is a part of the browser and accounts for its explosive growth (less than 1% last year to a bit over 17% at the end of June), the one thing that Qihoo would NEVER do is treat it like abandonware.

    Me too.

I ran into that fate with an absolutely wonderful Chinese classical HIPS in EQSysecure. Just when it was nearly at it's absolute best and winning popularity the developer turned away from it.
One can only imagine how great it would have been for windows x64 bit systems like 7 and 8.

Is it just my installation or is somebody else's Bitdefender database over a day old now?
