Really? How much bloat factor has been reduced? I'm planning on trying it out. Last I tried, it was just bloated. If it's less bloated I would try.

How's an anti-executable doing with your setup? I'm planning on using NVT ERP with my setup as well. Do you need an anti-executable with that setup? I ask because my setup is similar.;)

I'm copying securon. Trying out Bitdefender IS with sandboxie. Wow BIS is really light. I normally don't use suites but this is a good one.

Built-in Security: Windows SmartScreen, UAC on Default
On-demand (Scanners): Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Emsisoft Emergency Kit, HitmanPro
    On-demand (Virtual Environment): Shadow Defender
    Updates: Windows Update, PatchMyPC, SpywareBlaster
File Security: AES Crypt, 7zip encryption, SECURE delete with PrivaZer
Other: Group Policy tweaks, Router Firewall, OpenDNS, WOT, NoScript, Macrium Reflect

I was also thinking about pushing UAC up to max, But I haven't decided yet.

Good Afternoon! Amit...see kjdemuth's impression! It's on my system at least 35% lighter...now that's merely a guess on my part...even though it's summer don't want to make it sound like a metric...out of a light beer ad...Lol! Take it for a test drive...then have that beer...Lol! Sincerely...Securon

    So far so good.

Need? Maybe, maybe not, but it does add that extra level of protection.
No impact on boot or speed, no conflict or problems of any kind at this point in time and if all remains so then why not.

Ugh. Spoke too soon. BIS running with sandboxie crashed Firefox. Did it a couple of times. So off it goes! Back to WSA and sandboxie and maybe voodooshield. Maybe a firewall. Is OA still conflicting with sandboxie and chrome?

Right now on the laptop I mostly use, I have am running the following:

    Real Time Protection:
    360 Internet Security 2013
I have disabled the use of BitDefender for real time protection to make it as light as possible.

On Demand Scanning (very occasional, and only ever quick scans)
    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
    Ad-Aware Antivirus Free

    Firewall
    Windows 7 firewall

That is all I use, I don't use any ad blocking, script blocking software or web filtering software, and I have Java enabled.

Yes, I realise that this is not the most secure setup. But, I value lightness and an absolute minimum of prompts from security software ahead of system security. I refuse to use web filtering or ad blocking software because sometimes content I want to see gets blocked, and I'd much rather the content was never blocked in the first place than having to add exceptions to let me visit all the sites I want to. Or to put it another way, I prefer to use my own judgement to determine if I site is good or bad, rather someone else's.

Got rid of NVT for the moment. Added OA free and am happy to say that it works with Chrome now. Running rather light and I'm happy to have my firewall/hips back. No offense to NVT, I still love it.
