There's a Feedback&Support button on the top left corner of www.ax64.com? I don't see any button in the top left corner in Chrome 27, never have.

I would like to have the option for backups every 10 minutes for the last day, hourly for the last week, daily for the last month and weekly after that.

It would be best if I could create multiple custom backup schedules with different triggers (time, action etc.).

Also backups should have a flag to protect them from merge/delete which can be set automatically (defined in custom schedule, e.g. backup triggered by first boot of the day should always be locked) or manually afterwards in the backup browser.

An option for new baselines, e.g. every week, would be great, too.

There should also be an option to define the max size of the backup folder and what should happen once it's maxed out. Stop backups and display a warning, delete oldest backup (chain) etc.

Also it would be great if there was an option to postpone all merge operations to a specific time (like 2:00 am).

An option to export a specific backup would be great too.

    That's all :D

Mike, I'm a CHROME 27 user and it's smack up in the upper left hand corner... floats with you as you vertically scroll the page.

Since it's a widget, it's considered a tracker by almost any privacy/ad-blocking extensions, and thus, gets blocked, that's why you don't see it. Try disabling tracking protection in your privacy extension while visiting the website (mine is Ghostery, so I've just whitelisted it)

Heh, not sure what to do myself. Definitely will leave FD behind whenever I jump to Win8 or WinWhateverComesNext. But FD still working here on my Win7 although somewhat funky. :doubt:

But AX64 may be just what I've been looking for on my next new system.

So far no issues here either! Absolutely love this application. I was a little hesitant using hourly backups due to possible performance issues during gaming, but so far I haven't seen an issue.

Better than god - it doesn't even need a user manual.

I'll be a spoil sport...well not exactly! Still sitting on my Serial Number but it would appear it may be time to take the plunge. Given that, I have another question and will have more if I install tomorrow. Can "64" be disabled between the baseline and/or snapshots? Because of my other reasonably safe backup protocols I will use this perhaps weekly but definitely before installing any type of update and/or trying new applications. So can I just enable it when I want or need it? Thank you!

All you need to do is not check the hourly snapshots. Make your initial baseline backup right after installing AX64, and then make manual snapshots whenever you think your current state is worth saving.

AX64 does not get in the way of most other backup solutions (with a few exceptions) because it does not modify the MBR of your HDD.

    Cheers

Ok, thanks! Way, way back I actually did try it twice and indeed I didn't have any conflicts. I kind of just didn't try playing with it much.

Every day that you put off installation you're missing out on a great image/snapshot app. It's simplicity is its charm. You may even eliminate other similar software after a time because you won't need it because you are using AX64. I have eliminated 3.

I think Baldrick, in post #3083 meant to say good rather than god. I could be mistaken, but if I'm right it's better than good. :D

I tried restoring to a new SSD that I got recently. It only got to 6-7% done in around 2 hours. The image is stored on a HD which is connected internally.

Sorry noons, my bad. Could you please re-download the program and install again? If you still get backup error please send to me the logs. Thank you

    Isso

PS: you might want to install the older version if this one doesn't work for you (until we fix this). Just download the previous one from the www.ax64.com/news.html page and install it over.

The redownload fixed the bootup crash issue, but I am still getting errors trying to run a backup now. Sending the logs via email.
