By chance, does anyone have any experience with 360 running on/under Android and/or IOS? :)

I'm going to re-image HDD and install for a test-run.
    Thanks again.

I'm trying it out now on my machine. Very simple interface, seems light..but holy crap does the BD engine install and the BD definitions update take forever. I've been waiting 10 minutes for it to finish installing the latest BD definitions. It should make a nice little combo with MBAM Pro.

Sometimes it doesn't finish at all. Reboot and retry updating.

It's getting there, almost done at 15 minutes, lol. I hope that's not going to be a frequent thing. I'll at least give it a week trial to be fair to the program.

Initial update takes long, but further updates take less than 2 minutes. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Yeah it finished up :) I was surprised, after digging through the settings that the QVM 2 engine had its real-time protection shut off. Someone might have already discussed that and I missed it. I cranked the protection up to High from Medium and checked "All Files" in the monitoring section. I don't mind taking a small performance hit.

Does anyone know whether web filtering works without the extension it asked me to install when I fired up Chrome? I'd really rather not have to deal with any toolbars/plugins like some AVs have you do.

P.S, should BD defs be a day behind? The latest seems to be from yesterday. I'd think they'd update more than once per day unless it's some sort of licensing issue.

I have Maxthon installed on the pc where I have 360 running, so I have no clue regarding the extension, but for the BD signatures, I believe it updates once per day, at least that's what I've seen during the last 14 days since I installed it. Nothing to worry about IMO, since you have other 2 cloud-engines to back you up.

WOW!, This does an excellent job at preventing infection, I'm actually quite impressed by this...a lot actually WOW!

    Love everything about it, except...

It Just needs a listing for Spyware and Unwanted Program protection under Action/Security center.

Or Windows needs to stop being stupid. I've got MBAM Pro running alongside 360 and Windows is still complaining. What does it think MBAM Pro is, if not anti-malware?

I've got a little bit of an issue. I'm scanning folders that are gigabyte+ sized and they are supposedly being scanned in under 5 seconds..literally. I check the log after the scan and it shows like 6 files scanned in a folder, no rootkit scan, etc. And this is with maxed out protection settings. Am I just unaware that this program works differently or otherwise missing something?

Qihoo has released 360 Mobile Security for iOS/iPhone, Latest update June 21, 2013
    http://www.360safe.com/mobile.html

Apple seems to have given Qihoo the green light after it's investigation, which is a good sign, since Apple only lists trusted companies in their app store.

That article is somewhat dated and no longer a concern, especially since Qihoo apps are starting to appear back into Apple's app store again.

How Apple handles apps can be an entire thread by itself and one that would go way off topic. To put it short and sweet, Apple will remove anything it doesn't approve of, safety issues or not. I still say though that the AV testing organizations wouldn't likely bother with them if anything was off.

It's got nothing at all to do with Windows, MBAM just needs to tell Windows that is an antispyware program and then Windows would no longer complain about the lack of spyware protection.

One for the TECH guys at Qihoo .......

I've been running Qihoo 360 for a couple of weeks now and just looked in the Event viewer and was disappointed to see 26 error messages re Qihoo, -- EVENT ID 1530 User profile service.
After shutting down my Win 7 Pro 64-bit system, the Event Viewer for ID 1530 contains the message:

this was always followed by multiple references to registry keys opened by Qihoo 360.
Microsoft have no fix for this (obviously) but all these error messages about leaked Registry handles is disconcerting, so much so I've uninstalled Qihoo and gone back to another Av-- and the error messages have ceased.

WIN 7 Pro 64 bit, i7 Quadcore, 12 GB ram

You should ask Malwarebytes that question.

Is their any info about Qihoo QVM engine ? I ask this because KingSoft also use a powerfull heur engine called KVM engine. As we cannot share VT links:

    "Win32.HeurC.KVM099.a.(kcloud)"
    MD5: 9383c4ff75dfd08377c2be32ade25282

I'm wondering if there is any links between QVM and KVM ?

Well, had to remove it because it affected the shutdown sequent of my system, most likely due to the mods I had made to my system, o'well better to scan outside of windows anyhow, when you find a way that works sometimes it is best to stay with it, what's the old saying, if it ant broke don't fix ito_O

Just had a reply back from Qihoo support to say they are looking into this issue and will get back to me.
Hopefully they can sort it out so I can return to using 360.
