How-to-run

1. Download Crystal Security zipped file from download link.
2. Extract downloaded .zip file with some extraction tool (e.g. 7-zip or WinRAR)
3. Double-click (run) extracted executable file of Crystal Security (Crystal Security.exe)

Note

.NET Framework 4 is required.

I don't think Block action should delete a file.
What if FP occurs?
Can you put it in quarantine instead?

Suggestion 1: rename Block cause it has the same function as Deny.
Quarantine (if you agree) is better.

Suggestion 2: in Auto decision popup text, delete second word rule and change analyze to analysis.
IMHO it is better.

1. Looks better if there's a space after "...", referring to for example when the software is running a checkup and it reports in a tooltip in system tray. (Grammar)

2. When a notification window is present I can't navigate in the main window. (Was in the settings section and tried clicking on 'Main'.)

3. The click sound of Windows when the software is analyzing objects gets extremely annoying.

4. Tooltips when hovering over options containing an explanation/details would be very helpful to the user.

EDIT: 5. Going directly to tray on startup should be default. (Right now I don't even know if it will even with "minimized" toggled since minimized for me means staying on the taskbar. )

The sentence on the top would sound better if it read "Crystal Security uses a Cloud-Based[...]" - my two cents.

It appears that an old bug I reported returned.

1. Internet connection off

GUI shows its connected to the cloud.

2. Internet connection on, but blocked/not allowed in firewall

GUI GUI shows its connected to the cloud.

Can anyone confirm this?

I don't recall if I got JIT in both situations, but once the app reaches the stable channel, you should do something about these exception messages. My opinion is that these messages would be a bit scary for most Janes and Joes out there. I don't think you're catching those exceptions? You should catch them and present the user a more friendly message.

You could have the app create a log with those exception messages, so that the user can send it to you, if needed, though.
