I can't find the post I was repying to. Sometimes the Wilders forum software is crazy.

I don't know what happen to the post I was replying to about Comodo. o_O

Well if it did show a notice it must have been while I was gaming (fullscreen) and hence covered. I don't know if there's a better way it could have been handled, though it could have least shown me a reminder after exiting fullscreen.

Yeah, quoting Rush will do that to ya. First goes your mind...then goes your waistline...then the nonsensical, drug-induced babbling sets in.

Try being nonpolitical...like the rest of us. This is a security forum after all.

    Later...

Apparently BAF decided to crash right as the SP portion of Modern Warfare 2 (COD) wasn't running anymore; I quit the software. No anti-hack system like PunkBuster is involved.

    Just a heads up.

I still have .946 here. Maybe a fix for the Log button in the next update?

It very well could be. I opened up the GUI and it said there was a product update but I haven't restarted yet.

well bd free av is currently my favorite choice for free av, but it's rather unbelievable that such basic features are taking so long to add when they should have been available since the 1st version.

    The same for me.

I saw the update (947) on above links, although to my surprise I noticed that there was nothing in BD Forum Changelog thread:
Anyway, I decided to perform a clean install.
New installer (947?) downloaded and run.... and surprise, surprise:
Once again the 1.0.15.946 was present!!!!

I tried the same with the one from Softpedia. Still version 946. I noticed in the changelog for 947 it says it works with COMODO Firewall now :thumb:

With Bitdefender Antivirus Free installed, have any of you experienced a bit of a delay on Windows 8 startup?

I'm a PC Tech and I'm getting many of my clients complaining about this.

I am thinking about buying a new Laptop (My 1st ever Laptop) in the near future. If I do make the purchase, it will be something like: Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, SATA hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Do you think that Bitdefender Antivirus Free will be a good match for my new Laptop?

    Thanks in Advance.

If the previous posts of a slow boot are true then perhaps you should invest in a SSD for your laptop :D
