They have a ridiculously long beta application process.

Not much to pacify setting tweakers....

 

Nice interface.

Seems to be the trend this year. Not happy about it but this does look nice aside from the lack of options.

What's its memory footprint like, idle and during scan?

Running great, light as the current v2013, have yet to see errors whatsoever

 

Is it stable enough too run it on my computer?

 

It's running like "final" version on my rig.

You could give it a try if your wish but remember first to remove your Bitdefender package completely along with MBAM since, unlike the current official FS2013, this new FS2014 installer won't accept MBAM in the first run.

• Clicking Change Scanning settings option prompted Incorrect Setting Window (CTS-91911)
• Mouse pointer remains as hand-cursor when mouse-over a selected tab (CTS-91992)
• Button text misplacement (CTS-92013)
• CS lacks gradient and hover in tabs (CTS-92011)
• HTTPS website not automatically refresh after allowing them from Banking Protection blockpage (CTS-91908 )
• Two Main User Interface is shown after product upgrade (CTS-92032)

Close to an official release now;

 

-They doesnt update itself regularly. Signatures sometimes 2-3 days old. When i check update, it show "up the date" but it is not.
-It cant remove some non-active spyware (ondemand scan)
-Banking protection doesnt support some banking sites, we can not add manually this sites

3 problems with f-secure.

 

IMHO, I do not see any of these as major problems;

1. For additional banking protection sites just submit details of your Bank; http://community.f-secure.com/t5/Security-for-PC/Enabling-Bank-Protection-for/td-p/20876

2. Most users here would not rely solely on an Antivirus for spyware protection. So just scan with Malwarebytes as an on-demand scanner for additional spyware protection.

3. Signature updates, particularly of the Aquarius and Hydra engines are daily; http://www.f-secure.com/dbtracker/

 

i submit, they didnt add yet.

If Fsecure doesnt work for some cases, run another tool.
This is not solution. Can you imagine to FF developer say that?
This is downside of product and absolutly problem.

I submit some samples but this is not releated sample. I found everyday another sample, which one is can not removed by FF. This is general problem. I cant submit everyday another sample, right?

you dont understand.
Maybe they release every day or every minutes new signature. There was newer update on their site but;
I am talking about my machine, my system. I attached sample image. I report them, when it say vd is 2 days old, i uninstall it.
Beta problem? I dont know. is it major? Absolutly Yes. [i dont say they dont release update regularly, they release. Software cant update itself or there are bug or another problem. i dont know. My machine always connect internet.]
I can say i dont like their update system. I like emsisoft update system (or similar), it is clear. I can see what is going on. Personel preferences.
