I was just looking for a non-android less expansive smart phone. $220 seems like a very good deal, especially that it is unlocked and off contract. And without stupid ATT or Verizon imprint. Really nice. Looks like Im slowly finding iphone alternatives out there.

Re: Nokia Lumina 520 Nothing really against Android. It's a solid operating system. It is not in my taste however. Can't really explain. It's one of those things like some people like BMWs more than Mercedes.... Both fine cars.
For its price the lumia 520 is a fantastic phone. I got one for au$175 as a temporary replacement while my iphone was being fixed and i was really surprised how much i came to like it. Good sized screen, nice smooth performance and lots of useful apps pre-installed. I especially like the Me tile which gives me easy access to all my communication channels.
